Equity Research underlies all aspects of Seymour Pierce's business, from new issues and secondary fundraisings, through to supporting our corporate broking and sales teams. The quality, accuracy and timeliness of our equity research is key to our ability to service our institutional and corporate clients and, in light of this, we have built a team of analysts covering a wide range of sectors.

The Equity Research team provides comprehensive research on both UK and International companies listed on the UK stock markets. We have a strong emphasis on AIM companies but also research many larger companies - including FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 stocks - within our core sectors.

Seymour Pierce adopts a team approach to stock and sector selection. We recognise that market sectors are linked to each other. By maximising dialogue between our sector analysts we gain a perspective on the stock market as a whole, helping us to identify broader economic trends and their likely effect on stock prices.

In addition to pathfinder research for IPOs and secondary fund raisings and regular stock specific analysis we have developed a number of other research products aimed at providing institutional investors with additional market commentary and insight on key market trends, as well as stock specific information:

Equity Market Monthly - monthly coverage of around 250 companies including FTSE and AIM stocks.

AiM High- quarterly analysis of the AiM market

The Staffing Handbook- regular update of support services sector.

Tech Notes- regular update of the technology sector.

• Research Flash - daily electronic alert service aimed at ensuring that investors are aware of our current recommendations as early as possible each day.
